Punting on the Avon

Punting on the Avon River is an iconic Christchurch Attraction not to be missed. Depart from the historic Antigua Boat Sheds landing where your Punter will guide you quietly past weeping willows, woodlands and the leafy banks of North Hagley Park along side the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Or take a Punt ride from Worcester Street Bridge through Christchurch's central city and see the ongoing changes of our city.

Each Punting tour is approximately 30 minutes with informative commentary and you are returned back to the point of departure. For your comfort, we also provide blankets and umbrellas and during winter cozy hot water bottles from the Antigua Boat Sheds landing.
